Meet the Team

Katie Fullerton - Editor-in-Chief
Hello! I’m Katie Fullerton, a senior boarding student from San Francisco, CA. I spend my spare time reading, writing poetry, spending time outdoors, and discussing the secrets of the universe. I spend most of my time in the writing studio, where I attend prose and poetry club meetings, volunteer as a writing consultant, and gaze at our beautiful meadows. I’m a co-leader of the Young Leftist Society and the Loomis Chaffee Climate Action Club. I’m deeply motivated by how words can be tools to promote empathy, awareness, and change.

Luke Han - Managing Editor
Greetings! I’m Luke Han, a Korean-American junior from Seoul, South Korea. I’ll be serving serving as the Hourglass and World Bulletin’s managing editor this year. I have an unhealthy obsession with history and politics, and when I’m not writing or editing for school publications, I also participate in debate and Model UN.

Cookie Danchaivijitr - Staff Editor
Hi, I’m Cookie. I’m a boarding sophomore from Bangkok, Thailand. I joined the Hourglass and World Bulletin to learn more about different cultures, politics, economics, and systems from countries around the world. In my free time, I enjoy music, programming, photography, and reading the news.

Christine Wu - Graphics Manager
Hi! My name is Christine, and I’m from Hong Kong. I enjoy everything related to the arts, ranging from photography to mixed-media drawing. I joined the Hourglass and World Bulletin because I value the way it educates the community on current events, and how it influences students to become global citizens.

Artem Gagushin - Staff Editor
Hi! I'm Artem. I am a junior living in Kravis, and I just like to write about interesting things. Politics happens to be one of those.

Katelyn Kim - Staff Editor
Greetings! My name is Katelyn Kim, and I am a current junior at the Loomis Chaffee School. I am from Redondo Beach, California, but I frequently travel to Seoul, Korea! Currently, I am an Op-Ed section editor for the Log, an editor for E-Mag, ad active member of Model UN, and a member of the Schultz Fellowship on campus. Throughout my life, I’ve held a passionate voice and interest in history and its intertwinement with modern-day politics. When time permits, I enjoy writing poetry, reading, and going on nature walks.
